“there’s no such fecking thing as a fecking ….

flight for 50p!!"

Bedlamhillfarm posted this, and it is hysterical. I have watched it repeatedly and it gets funnier every time:

(hit refresh if it’s not showing up)

Feckity feckity feckity feck!!!

I’d never heard of Fascinating Aida, and I don’t think we have flights offered for quite THAT cheap here, since I believe 50p is around a $1.10 or so, but I’m sure everyone can relate to the added fees for everything fees can possibly be added to. And the misery of airline travel.

Having an oddly boring day, interspersed with crises. All involving students who thought they were graduating and did not due to various deficiencies. One is sending angry emails; the other one’s mommy keeps calling. I won’t bore you with the details. Let’s just say that we are all doomed when the Unbelievably Sheltered Generation finds itself in charge and suddenly nobody is fixing everything for them.

I really thought I had more to say. Apparently not. Well, it was worth an entry just for the video. And the new Simon’s Cat gif:

Look! It’s Cayce, helping Baker B type! She helps me type on the laptop by sprawling across it.

thank you… that made me laugh so hard

The UK airlines had those 50p specials, but as the video shows, the cost in the end was MUCH higher. Have you watched their Shattered Illusions video?

LOL

Your “crisis students” will make fine millenials described by Jason Calacanis in this post – http://www.launch.is/blog/do-we-deserve-or-even-want-more-jobs.html . I love his description of them wanting a trophy just for showing up. Cats can be ever so helpful. 🙂

there’s an airline called Ryanair which the song is mainly aimed at who pull all sort of ridiculous mega-cheap but not really cheap at all stunts. (charged for using the toilets, flying while standing up etc etc are some of the more outrageous brain farts that they have come up with.)

I love that they added subtitles to the video. And that gif is a perfect representation of my work day when I am home. Including the tail in the face. I think you might need to go on a field trip every now and then where there are slightly more focused and independent young people just so you know they exist.

Cats are extremely helpful. I don’t know how humans ever got anything done before domesticated cats came along.

I love Simon’s Cat! 🙂

So cute !!

I can attest to the truth of this, as well as its genius. We actually flew from Stansted with Ryanair. They are NOT joking that you only get cheap flights at 4am or some such. Also the cost of travel up from London makes it a dubious bargain. Plus I can say that in Ireland “feck” is a word it’s ok to use to the priest, and people drop it in at every available opportunity. Thanks so much for posting it!!

PS: Had a friend whose cat helped her read newspapers by sitting on the exact spot she was looking at. Also helped her play the guitar by swiping her claws lightly across her strumming hand.

Oh this is TOTALLY Bailey and me every time I get on the flaming computer! Hilarious! (And completely my fault because I made the mistake of giving him the lid of my Muller Fruit Corner once to lick and I often have one when I’m on the pc so now he equates me sitting at the pc with that and bugs the hell out of me thinking it’s coming ……)
