a word from our sponsors about those annoying…

….notices that say "You do not have access to this page!!!" Because when I don’t have enough ordinary things to worry about, I start searching for new worries.  I worry about things like, when I make an entry private, do all my favorites still see my name all lit up, and click on the entry only to get that YOU DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO THIS PAGE, LOOOOOSER!!!! notice?? And then, assuming they are overly sensitive conclusion-jumpers like I am, think that I’ve let everyone ELSE read this entry but I’ve blocked THEM, meaning I don’t love them anymore and I don’t want them reading this entry and waaaahhhhh!!!!!

Because that’s what I would probably think. If I didn’t realize entries that are on private apparently show up like that,  instead of just being invisible to everyone else like they ought to be.

So, the moral of my story is that when I make notes or save surveys for later or whatever, I put them on private. And I’m not blocking anybody – I’ve actually never blocked anyone the entire time I’ve been here, and I certainly never EVER block any of my favorites.

This is just bothering me because I’ve made a number of private entries lately, and like I said, never will I ignore an opportunity to worry.
