Nighttime In Sin City

And I’m continuing right now, not next week!!!

Lights!!

More lights!!!

The Flamingo!

A volcano errupting, with the hotel where we stayed (Treasure Island) behind it. That’s real live flames. I viewed a number of productions that used real flames, like the pirate/siren/stripper fight in the lagoon outside our hotel, and a really bizarre talking-statue-theatre-piece in front of the Caesar’s Palace Cheesecake Factory which involved (I think) Neptune and his children and at one point had fire shooting out all over the place. You could feel the HEAT, which I found it a little unsettling. Maybe that’s one reason you get to walk around drinking there. Nothing is quite as scary after you’ve had a few beers!

A really pretty fountain and lights show in front of the Bellagio. Pretty and famous – several people told me to check it out, and it’s very impressive. And doesn’t involve flames shooting out at you.

Paris!

And it’s time to go!

Wow, real flames! I know they have some real art in the Bellagio too. How weird it all must seem. A funhouse gone wild.

Oh, I wanna go back now. It was so windy and rainy when I was there we never saw the fountain show at the Belllagio. 🙁 But, oh my, those gorgeous Chihuly flowers in the lobby!
