Poetry: Simper

Simper
========================
A breath of angel,
A twining of fate —
A science of reason,
A conundrum debate.

No reason for flapping
’bout tastless mead;
No useless rapping
’bout noone to lead.

Superfluous reasoning,
For superficial toil —
Unblended seasoning
Of life’s sacred oil.

Shared misfortune
And unending glee —
Shaping truancy
For the childless and free.

Indeed interpretation
Is needed for the riddled —
But insatiable remission
Collapses the belittled.

Fantastic by nature
And outlasting the fickle —
Dissecting this cipher,
The ultimate riddle.
