Angelic Plains

From the back seat,
The sign of the Taurus sun shines
On the face of the bewildered one.

Drafted are blanketed truths,
From behind the lines
Of the lesser none.

So hard is it
To make hurt of out fun —
So vague are the pockets
Of freedom’s pun.

Gleaming glow of baby’s smile
Starts golden days all the while.

Taking her higher,
Higher than she could be —
No more could be explained
From her time on the angelic plain.
