And The Ice Kept Getting Thinner (WWW6)

This Past Week in a Word: Momentum.

Overall Feeling – Emotional: Repressed.

Overall Feeling – Physical: Fat. Tired. Tired of feeling fat.

Reading: The Queen’s Fool, but now that the book club meeting is over, I’m not reading that anymore. I’ll start the new book club book sometime next week probably. I’ve got The Second Wives Club sitting on my headboard. I bought it the other night at Barnes & Noble because it’s pretty frustrating not being able to relate to anyone, or have anyone relate to me regarding relationships at the moment. (Not, of course, that there’s any guarantee that I’ll ever be a second wife, or any kind of wife at all, but whatever.)

Watching: Not much. Mostly just WoW. I will be watching Idiocracy tonight, though. (As an aside, I cancelled my Netflix account. It was sad. My queue will be saved for two years though, so I’ll probably go back within that time for nostalgia purposes. I did save a copy of my queue though, so I can work on watching those movies between now and then anyway.)

Listening: My Musicals Mix (to be sent out as soon as I can get the stuff printed) and then some random smattering of Death Cab for Cutie, The Killers, Lily Allen and Finger Eleven.

Song Stuck in My Head: Nothing at the moment. Random songs will pop into my head throughout the day though.

Best Meal: Stir fry Thursday that I made when Kyle came over for dinner. I think that’s the first meal we’ve ever eaten at my place in Broomfield.

Website of the Week: BookClub Meetup Site

Projects of the Week: Scarves to get back into knitting. Two socks at a time. Leveling to 70.

Craving of the Week: Sweets.

Not So Cool Things: My momentum for bettering myself: health has dropped significantly, despite rewards and the feel-good feeling of keeping on track with it. I suppose I am still doing better than if I weren’t keeping track at all, but it feels like I can do more that I’m just not doing, like exercising!

Cool Things: This multidirectional scarf thing. I bought this yarn to do it in a few months ago and didn’t really work on it much at all. I started it over yesterday and am now 4.5 triangles in. I freaking love it. Also, next week I only work two days at my regular job. Woot!

New & Improved: The meetup page for the bookclub.

Question of the Week: Can I quit the second job yet? Will I ever have enough time to do all the things I want to do?

Big Ideas: Waking up earlier and exercising before leaving for work. For some weird reason I just can’t seem to get up before 8am or so during the week. (Except under duress.) I should probably go to bed earlier. I moved my alarm clock, too, to see if that would help, but aside from almost falling and hitting my head on sharp furniture corners several times this morning, it doesn’t seem to be working.

I Felt Most Accomplished When I finished my bamboo scarf.

To Do For Upcoming Week: Knit and level.

Looking Forward To: Having three days off next week.

There is never enough time to do what I want to do! Gah!

What’s levelling?

I have poor time management skills or something, because I know I have time to do things, but they still don’t get gone. Also fun fact: Finger Eleven’s original name: Rainbow Buttmonkeys!

Leveling ftw! I can’t wait.

I should really finish the scarf I started last year…

Was cancelling Netflix an economic decision? I’m kinda surprised I’m still going strong with it two years later. You’d think at some point you would run out of movies to watch, but that never seems to be the case.
