Oh

So it was just a moment
really
in which the elephant trumpeted loudly
in the living room of my life

Branches of care were spread open
for a moment
and the light poured through
glaring

Now the elephant is off again
at a watering hole I suppose
there’s a leak from our kitchen
into someone else’s bedroom down below

Buckets from the bathroom today
my cell phone is turned off
I need to find it before I
head out the door

Self-fulfilling prophecies abound
in this overgrown apartment
where I struggle just to see
some little part of me

Once I was abandoned
once I was sent away
sometimes I dream of walking
until my legs give way

He says she says
so do he and she
smatterings and mutterings
still it’s Saturday

Oh dear, hope you get the leak fixed quick and there’s no hole in your bucket either. Keep breathing out and breathing in Cathy, when it’s bad.. it can only get better from there..right? My Love & Hugs, Bren.

Take a deep breath.. Count to Ten. Say to self ” I have just awakened from a good sleep, relaxed and refreshed. The Sun is shining and the air is balmy. Start the day over…. Now empty the damn bucket

Yes, do breathe. But, reserve the right, at any point in your day, to scream if the urge strikes you. You don’t have to scream *at* anybody. Just keep the option. Tomorrow will be better, and so will the rest of today. *hug* 🙂

Sweet Dreams. Notes at the other place..smiles…

Like the whitter. Hope those elephants and others run off and do their thing. And you enjoy your day. Hugs,
