A birthday

It’s Kay’s, today! Reilly is taking a nap (Reilly is nine weeks old and mostly black and all feline). Kay is sleeping. I am typing here.
I am just wading through emails in various accounts as although we had some online access at the first apartment, there really wasn’t time to do my usual sorts of checks and deletions and reading and replying, so I need to put on cyber hip boots and wade on through.
Traffic in Manhattan was gruesome yesterday thanks to the U.N. General Assembly and its effects. My friend made it to the airport in time to catch her flight. I’ll be glad to know she is home safe again.
It’s rainy, so I guess our celebrations will be mostly indoors today. 😀
