Restoration *Edited for a whitter*
Just one phone conversation; touching base. That’s what it takes, apparently. I had two important conversations yesterday, and they were full of good things. They were full of love.
That funny four-letter word. It is many things, and it is powerful. So are emotional history and pain. Love, in its many forms, is the light and the good, and “what the world needs now,” has always needed.
I am so happy to have people in my life with whom I share love. I am grateful for the growth of it between K and me. I am grateful for the shifting of how it is lived between Folláin and me. I am grateful for the loving counsel of dear friends who see me through to the solution. It is easier to move forward in my life with the positive and good intact, with loved ones growing along with me.
It makes me wonder all the more about human beans, how often pain and damage are inflicted on loving, open hearts. My grandma used to say there is a thin line between love and hate. I want it not to be crossed; I want understanding and tolerance and compassion and patience to prevail. You know: love.
Sprinkling love on all who pass through here. Have a fine hump day … umm, if you are in the part of the world where it’s Wednesday, that is. Have a good Thursday if you’re way ahead of me.

Songs
I’d be a minstrel
if the year and talent
would allow it
play a lute or a mandolin
singing for my supper
as I come to each new place
Today is gray and close
what would a lark make of it
are the birds having a lie in
in your dreams
can you hear the true tones
of my heart’s song
Today
I’ll spin a thread of chords
singing all I’d say
if blessed with a mandolin
and a voice that could convey
my soul’s dance
Nothing quite like the spread of such a wonderful disease… LOVE! Is there C? It really is ALL we need, to see us through the bad times, the sad times, and of course all the good times. Sending you my love to add to yours …today and each day. Bren.

Love encompasses even those things we believe not to be love, because love is all there is. At least, that’s what I’m told. You whitters always are wonderful. I think you would have made a good minstrel, a singer of three chord songs.

Thanks for the sprinkle.

Beautiful whitter once again C, I love the sound of a mandolin, such clear notes, a bit like a harp. Lovely, Bren.
