Chain of thought

Through a window
the world moves madly by
appointments to keep
I don’t know where or when
and I never will know why

I tread lightly
it’s all fine
life calls with expectations
we make time
when we can

Take me down
to the water’s edge
sand and water blend
teaching surrender
how to see infinity

Stones along the beach
gather them smooth
polished by ages of tides
you and I
another pair

Take me down
to the water’s edge
sand and water blend
teaching surrender
and how to see infinity

Listen to the voice of God
in a shell’s whisper
sand and water
wind and sun
smooth me down

beautiful ms explorer

i like this one!

Such beauty -and passion – flowing from your words lately. Along with a dab of inner child pain. I am.. Holding you from afar, ::North*Star::

reminds me of a song – i think by meat loaf

Stay well…beaches and oceans are rather compelling. Beautiful poem, Seeker. Big Hug
