Thoughts in N’s room
While I was lying in there last night. I am so glad I am provided with insightful, loving people in my life. It helps so much, especially when my selfishness is running rampant, as it does at certain peak times in my journey. My Higher Power puts someone there who has more sense, who sees behind the visible to what is really going on, and reminds me to be caring, to take care of hearts young and old that might be having some reactions to my path and where it is taking me.
Obscure enough? Just wait! My scribbles were even more obscure! Wishing all who come through here what I was given yesterday by virtue of an interaction on a forum: Bright Blessings.
Cusps
So many things
reel around in a new made
redesigned fragility
All right
I yield to young needs to know
introductions made
It’s a heart expanding
whispering in the midst of
noise and needs
Three then two
then one more
into today
Knowing takes time
it’s the tenderness that seems
so immediate
Five and so close
the names and ages
here one can’t fit and must
Prized and see
when you tell me
please tell me you know how
Crowded
out
pinned
Sweet mercy
deliver at least this much
intact
I suppose
night should close
me now
Salvation
on a dance floor
in blue eyes
Or
Perhaps I am
a string
plucked for a tune
Throbbing response
behind eyes closed
curtains
Is this enough
could I be
for anyone
Notions shift
opening
to mastery
A rose
bends in its own thorn protected
fullness
I silence
demons and heart
against force
Me at the age of nine at St. George’s Camp, Saugerties, NY

Lovely lines, but how did you know the color of my eyes?

Beautiful, I love trying to read the meanings ‘between’ the lines, sometimes so wrong, but, sometimes right too. Much love C, Bren.

So you know, I’m closing the diary for a time. Too busy doing Bella’s work. She’s off looking after her husband who has cancer. CU when I can. Warmest Hugs
