Gobs of stuff

But not a thing to share.
That’s life sometimes.
I’m not going to do anything about the power cable just now as apparently if I am patient enough the modem sorts itself out and starts working just fine. Of course, interacting with human beings on the other end of the connection makes it very frustrating in the times when it just can’t get its act together. So I think that for the most part, I will forego that.
This is an excellent idea just now as I am a very boring conversationalist these days (maybe I always am, but shhhhhh … my ego really doesn’t want to know). I need to improve my skills of perception … a lot. I am really obtuse about getting hints or understanding things that aren’t told to me in the simplest way. And lots of people don’t actually like to be blatant about their communication (I’d say I fall into that category myself about some things at some times).
Okay. Now I’ve rambled boringly for a few paragraphs.
It’s Friday here. I hope that wherever you are (geographically and emotionally, not “Well duh, I’m reading your diary on OD!”) you are finding things that make you happy and give your spirit peace.

I am sure you are not a boring conversationalist. I hop eyou find things to make you happy and keep you at peace too. 🙂

You are never boring! Never. I hope you have a peaceful and happy day your own sweet self. Hugs,

I don’t think you know how interesting you are! And even if you were not being riveting, per se, you’re still a pleasure to “know”….likely even MORE so in “real” life.

I thought of you last night whilst reading our little local paper. Irish poet Eavan Boland (who lives in Dublin and Stanford, near me, where she heads the creative writing program) spoke to an oldster’s group (I attended once with a neighbor, and a guy in the row behind had to be rushed to the hospital… but I digress)and during the q&a was asked why so many great writers are Irish.>>>

You’re so cute… I hope everything works out with the cable things. Technology sucks sometimes, doesn’t it? Too complicated for me. Well darling, I hope your day is filled with things as wonderful as you are… love you =)

>>>”Partly, she said, because the Irish took revenge upon the British for removing the use of their own language by excelling in the expression of the language of their oppressors. Only 10% of the Irish people read poetry, she said, but 45% of them write it.”Interesting, eh? I slept GOOD last night. You? TGIF, and have a fantabulous weekend, ME.

Hehehe, well, here’s Huggles to share (((Me Explorer))) : )

Sometimes we are our worst critics and are harder on ourselves than anyone else could be. Rest assured, you are not boring

I can so relate to the title and the first two lines of this entry. Hello, ME.

No no no, you’re not boring! I think we all pretty much lead similar lives…80% boring and 20% fascinating…but some people know how to make that 80% seem fascinating, too! My current cooperating teacher talks in riddles and hints and shades, and it makes me crazy. It’s like he’s looking for a specific answer without asking me a specific question. hugs,
