1) Grab the book nearest to you, turn to page 18, find line 4. Write down what it says:
“thing soft, in noticing the one small, black bird who sings every”

2) Stretch your left arm out as far as you can. What do you touch first?
A dining chair with clothes draped over it.

3) What is the last thing you watched on TV?
A movie with Dennis Hopper I don’t know the title of yet involving magic and witch hunts in what looked like the 1950s. His name was Lovecraft (initials H. P.); it was brilliantly fun and I hope I can find out what it was called. Edit: “Witch Hunt” (thanks, Mia Musement!)

4) WITHOUT LOOKING, guess what the time is.
7:45 p.m.

5) Now look at the clock, what is the actual time?
7:48 p.m.

6) With the exception of the computer, what can you hear?
Popcorn popping in the microwave; a tv on the Westerns channel in the living room.

7) When did you last step outside? What were you doing?
7:18, getting off the bus.

8) Before you came to this website, what did you look at?
My email site crawling open.

9) What are you wearing?
A dark rose Provincetown sweatshirt over a fuzzy black mock turtleneck shirt, black wide legged pants, appropriate undergarments :D, socks and black Reeboks; glasses, a watch, a necklace.

10) Did you dream last night?
Probably.

11) When did you last laugh?
While chatting with Folláin.

12) What is on the walls of the room you are in?
A small poster of Irish shopfronts; a huge poster of Newgrange; a collection of postcards.

13) Seen anything weird lately?
I live in Manhattan; what do you think? And anyway, define “weird” …

14) Last movie you saw?
50 First Dates

15) If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you buy first?
Two homes, one in the tri-state area and one on the other side of the ocean.

16) Reveal something that no-one knows about you.
If I told you then it wouldn’t be an answer to this question anymore now would it? (Okay, that answer was already here, but it’s so good I’m going to just keep it.)

17) If you could change one thing about the world, regardless of guilt or politics, what would you do?
With all due respect to the Beatitudes, the meek wouldn’t have to inherit the Earth, as I would have the kindest and gentlest people rule the world and have all the best homes and best land and worldly goods. Anyone self-serving, cruel or out for only him/herself would be given menial tasks to perform for a minimum wage (which since only the kindest and gentlest people would be running the world might just be livable) or put on the dole (which would be run by people of the same kind as are on it).

18) Do you like to dance?
I love to dance.

19) George Bush:
Which one? Senior: yawn. Junior: deliver us from evil.

20) Imagine your first child is a girl, what do you call her?
Miranda.

21) Same question for a boy.
Andrew.

22) Stretch your right hand all the way out, what is the first thing you touch?
A frame with pictures of my children.

The flick is called Witch Hunt and was quite entertaining, if memory serves. I probably won’t “steal” this survey from you (since that would mean I’d actually have to post an entry), but I’ve had fun pondering if there is anything that no one knows about me. For everything I’ve thought of, there’s always at least one person but not always the same one person. Interesting.

If I answer all those questions do I get a prize? j/k have anice day /night

I’ll answer one question. If I ruled the world, I would take the earth and put it all, with all it’s people into a perfect Heaven & let God do the rest. tadaaaaaaaaa no fights, no muggings, no murders, no tears, and all problems solved. yepp, that’s what I would do. Peace from

Okay, that’s too drastic huh? I would give everyone their own home free & get rid of all landlords [no offense to landlords]. Everyone would have to work or go to school –of their own choice of job or school. Mommy’s could stay home & babies could be their job & they would be paid about $40. hour from the government. I think I would quit right there & let God do the rest. Peace from
