Whirrrrrrrr

There is a lot of that going on around here. Also bang bang bang and “Oof” and “Ugh” … interesting sounds of people doing things in ceilings and into walls and all that sort of stuff. There was this really cool deal made to those who work in this particular quad of cubicles for now … stay out of the office from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., and our employer will give them a week of comp time. Cool, huh? But actually my little cubicle thingie isn’t affected at all by the stuff they are doing, so I will not avail myself of the offer. Of course, my colleagues who sit on the other side of the cubicle wall actually usually don’t even come in till 10, but hey … who am I to say anything? :D:D It’s all sort of merry, isn’t it? The chap who is working in their ceiling is a bit of a groaner! Righto, I’ll drop off a whitter of yesterday evening’s subway ride to Kmart (!) and get on with my work.

In passing

My angel travels easily
slowly
seeing things through eyes
some will never really see

In her vision lies now
things not given me to know
see or hear
until quietly and privately
she tells me
and I attend all she says

What will unfold
be unfurled in our coming conversations
with ourselves
with each other

Trying has brought me this far
trust insists on asking more
when an angel asks a question
surely heaven holds the answer

I will study her gaze
oceanography
what might grow from the union
of a secret and an open book

Made of clay
animated for some time
this thing called life moves
through space and days
quiet now imposed calls me
saying now that you are
what are you

ryn: yeah… we sorta dress alike… well accept for that black lace stuff… hahaha.

It amazes me the whitters you write on the way to kmart. How can something so wonderfully magic be born on the way to kmart? 🙂

Agreeing with Gemma. Geez, when I go to the store all I can think about is how to get a parking spot! Interesting employer offer – hmmmm, we’ll give you a few hours away from your desk and give you a week off for your inconvenience, I want that job!

These words for some reason recall to me that commercial with the baby speeding around in the walker. Which always makes me laugh. ryn: Yes, she actually dropped the baby. She said this to me, matter-of-factly, accompanied by this ghastly shlupping sound.

Amazed! Astounded! By jove I’m confounded! The poetic muse lilts on the bus, the train, in the office, the rain. Washing dishes she twitches to find her computer, when lesser mortals barely give utter. We type as we stutter at a loss for words. Em…eh…? Oh well, good morning and thanks for the poem 🙂

Lovely but I have to ask for once.. Where on earth did the word “oceanography” fit into all this.. It threw me I ended up backtracking to see what I had missed.. Sigh.. I guess I just dont have the sophisticated mind needed to understand some of these wanderings!! I am in awe!

Oof! Ugh! *groan* okie, that was fun. *grin* Love your whitter today ME.. especially the clay animation bit. Sometimes I think everyone is made of clay at the bottom of it all.. just a little malleable, just a little stiff, and all over fun. 🙂 happy hols and hugs,
