Nurse Ratchet
Or, Sister Flo. Yes indeed folks, Aunt Flo has swept into town and shoved me out of the way, declaring that she is a far better care provider than I could ever be. N might quibble, but just a bit. He isn’t running a temperature at all today, even without his medicine; we’ll see how things go tonight of course as that’s when the temperature inside him seems to like to climb. We even have someone for him to stay with tomorrow (because he has to be fever-free for 24 hours before he can go back to school, of course).
I need to snap out of my current state. Until I do I’m just a mass of uncertainty, fear and self-pity for no good reason. Ewwwwwwwwwwwww.
So when that happens I might post something worth reading. Although hey, N not having a fever today is worth reading, isn’t it? I thought so. Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
Seems like Aunt Flo visits you a lot. LOL! Take care and hugs,

Sometimes we just need to cut ourselves some slack. Sounds like a good day to curl up with a book of poetry and pamper yourself.

I like the name Nicholas for a boy. I almost named Adam that. Chuck thought naming our baby Lucas Skylar would be cool – Luke Sky Walker – get it? We shoulda done that. But, yes, I really like Nick for a name. Alas, “Adam” was the only name we both agreed upon.

I hate that unkown anxiety that creeps up from between your shoulder blades…*shiver* I am glad he is getting better – many hope for a fever free 24.

I, like Gab, had that same thought. “gee, Flo visits a lot” I had a huge breakthrough with my self pity. Feels so good to be out of that non-productive thought loop. If I can do it.. You can do it too. 🙂 Hope your day is a good enough one.

That Aunt Flo is so bossy. She must be an ancient artifact with nowhere else to go cause she overstays her welcome in so many homes 🙂

remember that you are strong and you have gotten this far. fear is everywhere and in everything but you have conquered it before and will again. everything happens for a reason. bad things bring good ones into our life, take our paths in directions we never would have predicted, at the ends of which there are some rewards. *hugs* give yourself time to think, relax, breathe, and feel.

I can tell you Aunt Flo deserves a frequent guest discount with me too.
