No genius here

I catch on to some things very slowly. Which is all right! It means that my learning process takes a lot of time. But since, in my philosophy, life is given to our souls for learning purposes, this is almost certainly a good thing! 🙂 Happy weekend!

A new dawning, at night

I succumb
release myself into the sweet
safe embrace of the truth
because Folláin never let me fall
through all the kaleidoscope times
and her vision is clear
oh I am rich and now
I bask in the joy and the freedom
of what I have been given
even as the last vestiges of error
slip away

I make mistakes and I suppose
I always will
but there is learning along the way
even dull crayons can color a rainbow
and I love and am loved by
its very center
so tonight I will meet her in my dreams
and dance through images given
by a traveling companion who in words
bestows gifts of wonder and beauty

Oh I am a blessed and grateful soul

A nice way of looking at the learning process. 🙂

very nice 🙂 RYN: clipper count is now at 4, 3 small pairs & 1 large LOL

This entry reminded me of a bumper sticker I saw that nags at me in it’s simple truth and profound implication. “You have more Freedom than you use”. I think we prefer “safe” over “free” don’t we?

and ryn (i always forget what i’m doing when i do things): i have many a person to confide in, just no one i’m willing to burden. i think it might be time for me to try going to see a counsellor again, though. hugs,

I don’t want to learn all my lessons too fast. Well, some days, and then otherdays, I want them all to be over so I can coast for a while. Happy Weekeend!

Loved the line “even dull crayons can color a rainbow”.. Too often people overlook the seemingly not so beautiful in search of brightness, colour, excitement.. missing so much of the beauty and joy in the “ordinary” things..

I sit here in thoughtful silence. Magical dreams, sweet poet. Smiles & Hugs

<> Your writing here is especially moving and meaningful to me this day as I also ponder emerging awareness. Thank you for your warm and wonderful welcome back. ~ DAJ

Life is for the learning. IF you’re still learning, you’re still living, and that’s a good thing. 🙂

you are no dull crayon, you’re shining 🙂 *hugs*

beautiful!!! yes, dull crayons can color a lovely rainbow. i just love rainbows. when my daughter was in first grade, she did a science project on rainbows. it was so sweet. *smiles* did you know there is a pattern to the colors of the rainbow?
