Dancing in the noon sun
That’s right … come over here. At noon we will dance in the square as people are having their hurried take out lunches. We will whirl and twirl in each other’s arms and laugh and sing and kiss.
For all the world to see.
Help please
Can hope cross an ocean
allow me
I choose to base it on something
else
no game of chance
but wait
There may be no room at the inn
so my heart
must then require my mind
to do some quiet work
but one thing I need
if I may
Tell me
go wild and abandon
your customary caution
whisper it if you must
but remember once you told me
and there were jobs to do
Quiet falls dark on me now
these lines dripping pale
on the page
and a curtain comes
a desire to fiind silence
lest my screams fill the universe
~~~~~~~~~~
Being
Hope lives in a house
and I walk these streets
they are tired
I breathe in their exhaustion
chided
I wonder about priorities and plans
Shall I join the Too Late Chorus
hide behind my self-loathing choices
pretend pretend pretend
because when I look around me
so many people are being so careful
it makes me want to scream
I will not touch upon the lives
that collude in your conspiracies
perhaps there is no room for me
in the midst of the tidy furniture
of appearances
but oh how I love shining eyes
~Conamara~
Not my photo … I have yet to go to this place.
Someday I hope to.
Its georgous. Breathtaking actually.
I have nothing intelligent to say; waiting for the pot of coffee to finish so I can give myself a jump-start on my day (a little late, but better late than never i guess.). Beautiful photo. Beautiful whitters too.
Well, those were a lot of notes you left on my diary missy lol. And thank you little birdy for pointing Colette to my diary. It made me smile to see her note hehe I hate that I can’t write like you and many others. Shuush… I can’t, so :p That’s a beautiful picture too.
I’m hoping that hope reaches you from across the pond and sure those shining eyes are dancing in your heart all day : ) Enjoy the sunshine! Very nice to see the photo. Somehow I think many of us have already been there even though our feet may not have touched that earth yet. Buncha Hugs
goooooorgeous photo. mm. *munches on it* “so many people are being so careful” – it’s almost depressing how careful people are these days. let’s go dance in parking lots and sing christmas carols on street corners where Santas ring their bells (well maybe not quite yet but they will) and smile at strangers and ooh stuff! 🙂 hugs,
“Connemara is a savage beauty…”~Oscar Wilde…which I believe is the same place (although spelled differently). Did you not make it to Ireland’s left coast?
