Quickly on my way into Monday

Obscurity

A collection of ephemera
no more substantial
than the images flickering past
on a screen
some silent movie
extremes of light and shadow
no sound save the projector’s whirring

I wrote today a proclamation
sworn on the delicate gold symbol
that hangs around my neck
in times when it raises no questions
itself a declaration
but mine for now will stay tucked
in the pages of this book
in the folds of my heart

Hands and eyes
hands and eyes love
my lover
words are not needed now
I long still to hear the singing of a lark
staying quiet and immobile
tell me you believe
in possibilities if not in me
so long at the fair I lost my credibility
when you find it let me know

One wants to just scoop you up and gently place you down in that green sunlit meadow with the lark and much laughter. I really like the weather pixie today. 🙂

Wow, at your powerful whitters lately! I see clear evidence everyday of your credibility, not just here but in how you live. I hope belief comes easy. Some things take time and new effort.
