A bit of the mundane

A long day

The weight is a bit heavier
as the work becomes more evident
and clear as my heart sees its path
there is much to be tended to

Muscles and a sacrifice of time
but I must prepare us all
tired now I close my eyes
feel the sore exhaustion
the special urban dirt and dark
would rob my soul of its vision

Folláin
speak to me now
behind my closed eyes
your brambles and caresses ease my mind
the timbre of your voice is the siren song
toward which my soul moves
in which lies my deepest motivation

Beautiful yet emotionally exhausted words. (((hugs))) RYN: I’m fine… tired… but fine 😉 The poem was about a vampire… not my mental state 😉 Fingers crossed will sleep tonight *hope hope*

A poem of living, down to earth and practical, with a touch of weariness….then a lovely love song from the treetops…a real heartsong… Hugs

That’s lovely. I don’t know what it means, and have multiple theories about who/what follain is, but i like both the weariness and the acceptance.

🙂 Follain is a beautiful name. What does it mean?

tired and weighted down.. mm. that’s when i usually go see the counsellor.. 😉 ryn: i’m really liking this (http://www.religioustolerance.org/hom_bibl.htm) website. it explains a lot about the way translations have changed a lot of the meanings in the Bible, and shows both liberal and conservative interpretations. it makes a lot of sense to me. *nods* hugs,

Wonderfully expressive. (Stark contrast to my whining about feeling the weight of the world plus 5 pounds.)

You certainly have a way of making words “feel” .. I too am not sure of the meaning but yes it makes me feel very weary.. Sounds like hard work to me..

This is one of my favorites so far, I think. ryn: Yeah, that’s one of the reasons why we feel we connected so well. 🙂
