Wednesday is here

Come
rise with me from the ashes
soar above the predictions
the statistics
lying fallow as all such attempts
to formulate the future must

There is no bottom line
to our souls
no chart to reflect the byways
of experience
and the presence of angels
cannot be summarized in a table

The messages I need are clear
straightforward
so they come to me
not wrapped in esoteric flights
but plain and simple
clear as spring water

Thank You
for reaching me
as You know I need
for the blessings and abundance
never earned and beyond value
for making sure someone watches over me

So come now
because there is no accountant
to measure the force of hope
the power of us
very human and still
we follow so many destinies
out of the ashes gone before

RYN: Oh, no offense, but isn’t 40 generally, you know, called ‘over the hill’? 😛

Usually I am only happy with an accountant available, because my math skills are so terrible….but in this case, who needs numbers anyway? 🙂 Shalom,

I love your poems. I don’t have a clue why I stopped coming here, honestly. I think I just got too busy for a while.
