A vision
For far too brief a time I saw you yesterday. Your hair was gloriously touched with red, and you were once again so busy with so many people to work with.
And I told you not to bother checking your email for messages because all my little messages and quotes and ecards don’t really matter. Not when you’re so busy and officially on vacation and I know that, well, they just don’t really matter all that much.
Being near you, though, is harder than ever. Because I want to get you all alone and far away from all the people and the business and the busyness and the rest of the world.
I keep with me the memory of your glowing soft and ever so gently curling hair, and that momentary touch through all the people and the chaos.
I will live by remembering your hair.
Yes: I know that feeling. Sometimes the simplest things get us through…the memory of her hair, or a touch…But don’t belittle your own place in her life. I would guess she loves receiving notes and e-mails from you. It is always nice to know that someone is thinking of you. My feeling is that you are more special to her than you realize. You are a wonderful person!
