I’m Baaaaaaack!

Hello all! Did you miss me? (I know you did)

At the moment, I’m sitting in the living room of Lisa and Kurt’s house, being lazy and half-heartedly watching tv with Zach, who has the day off. I’ve got a load of laundry in the dryer, so I should be able to pack my suitcase better than I did when I was getting off the ship. I mostly just crammed the dirty stuff into a bag and stuffed it in my suitcase. Not at all efficient. It probably doesn’t help that I bought a few things in Bermuda that have to get crammed in there too.

The trip was good, although I didn’t get to do some of the things I would have liked to try because my mother and grandmother keep early hours. There were a few parties and clubs I didn’t get to see go to. And it would have been fun seeing the island from a scooter. I don’t know how to ride them and I thought that trying to learn at the same time that I tried to remember that I had to drive on the left was not a good idea. Alan would have had to drive, which is why I’d love to go back with him. Bermuda was absolutely fascinating though.

I’ll obviously give more details when I’m more at liberty to write. I don’t want to spend the entire day on the computer when there’s so much else I need to do. I have to finish my laundry and fold it and then I’m meeting Lisette for lunch. After that I’ll go down to Trumbull and visit all my Bright Horizons people. Then back here for dinner. I’ll spend the night here, then go up to Bradley in the morning, drop off my rental car and get ready for yet another day spent in a flying steel cigar tube and lurking around the Atlanta airport.

I’ve started playing catch-up on everyone’s diaries, but it might be a while before I’m really caught up. It probably won’t be until Thursday night. LOL. So don’t expect notes on every single entry, but I will read (or watch) them.

And yes, I did say that I was sitting here with Zach. Yeah. That’s about what it’s always been. He has today off and I don’t think he works until late tomorrow so I have quite a bit of time with him. Kurt is here too, though, so… yeah. Zach’s still about the same as he’s ever been and I’m about the same around him. I do appreciate the fact that he’s hanging out with me instead of his friends. And it’s a deliberate decision. Damn that boy!

Anyway, I have about a zillion emails, most of which need to be deleted.

Welcome back! I can’t wait to read more about the trip.

RYN: Thanks for the kind words 🙂 I’ll be sure to kick people and tell them you said I could 😛 I get that it will take people some time to get used to it though, hell, even I still am haha!
