The Challenge – Day 4

Day One: Ten things you want to say to ten different people right now.
Day Two: Nine things about yourself.
Day Three: Eight ways to win your heart.
Day Four: Seven things that cross your mind a lot.
Day Five: Six things you wish you’d never done.
Day Six: Five people who mean a lot to you. (in no order whatsoever)
Day Seven: Four turn offs.
Day Eight: Three turn ons.
Day Nine: Two words that describe your life right now.
Day Ten: One confession

Day Four: Seven things that cross your mind a lot.

1. How much weight I’ve gained since I moved out here and how much I need to reverse that trend. I’ve been good lately and I’m trying to double up on my workout routine, so I do something in the morning and in the afternoon. Yesterday, I did an hour on the treadmill in the morning, then went to Spin class for an hour in the afternoon. Today I did an hour on the elliptical in the morning, plus a few strength training exercises. This afternoon I’m hoping to go to Zumba, but I might not get to because I have to pick Alan up.

2. The longing to be near the ocean again. I miss it so much that it’s a physical ache. Stupid desert.

3. Right now, the impulse to continue painting. I finished the pencil drawing for Mandy and I’ve blocked in the background colors, but I didn’t want to start on the foreground until I knew I’d have the time to do it right and I had a feeling that Alan would be back from FTX sometime today. I wasn’t about to start a project only to have him call and need a ride home before I’d finished it.

4. Vacuuming. I know that sounds kind of weird, but I do really need to vacuum the house. I just keep putting it off because I know I’m going to have to empty the canister half a dozen times. Of course, that number only grows the longer I put it off.

5. The fact that there is really nothing on television. There are a few shows I really enjoy, but I’m pretty sure that it’s not worth the money we’re paying to DirecTV every month when we could just get Netflix and watch exactly what I want when I want to. I’m only mentioning this because I’m watching reruns of "My Fair Wedding" that I’ve already seen and waiting for "Law & Order: SVU" to come on at 3.

6. Where the cats are and what trouble they could be getting into. I don’t trust them when I can’t see or hear them.

7. Zach. I know, I know! But I can’t help it. The guy is hot, funny, and a flirt.

Hahaha, to #6! I feel the same way! We gave up cable years ago, and I don’t miss it at all. I love having Netflix. We hooked our computer up to our tv, so we can stream stuff right on our tv. A friend of ours hooks his laptop to his tv to do the same thing. I’m happily watching my way through Desperate Housewives these days 🙂

Lol. I giggled at number 7. And at the one about my drawing! Whoo boy, has Alan seen you working on any of the art of me? 😉 Lol! What does he think of THAT if he has? 😉 Haha. I love you. <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3
