Alphabet Survey L-P

L is for leaves.

Do you like watching the leaves turn colors in the fall? They don’t change quite as vibrantly here as they do in New England. And I would never be one of those leaf-peepers. That’s always seemed a little weird to me. Still, it’s always a pretty, refreshing sight.

Do you like fall? Very much.

Do you say fall or autumn? I use both pretty equally.

Do you ever have to rake the leaves? Not since I was 13 or so. We moved the next year and my dad bought a huge leaf blower because our yard was almost two acres.

Or do you have a sibling who rakes the leaves? No siblings at all.

How many trees do you have in your yard? Well, since I don’t have a yard, the answer is technically "none." But there is a crab apple tree right outside.

M is for months.

What is your favorite month? Maybe September or June. Or October and May. I like the intermediate months.

What is your least favorite month? November or March… both tend to be gray and cold and nasty.

In what month is your birthday? February

In what month is your mom’s birthday? November

What month do you wish you were born in? I’m fine with February

What month does school usually start for you? School hasn’t started for me in five years! Generally, it was late August.

N is for nails.

How often do you paint your nails? Rarely. I don’t have the patience to sit without fidgeting until they’re dry, so I usually smudge them. Even the 60-second colors take a while to dry completely.

What is your favorite color to paint your nails? I have a really pretty bronze-brown that I love.

How long do you like to keep your nails? Longer than short. They usually break when they get longer, but since I’ve been taking prenatal vitamins, they’re a lot stronger.

Do you know someone who files their nails into points? Definitely not.

Do you prefer to hang things with nails or screws? I use picture hangers. Those are more like tacks.

Have you ever used a nail gun? Possibly… maybe not.

O is for outside.

How often are you outside? At least once a day, though not always for very long.

How large is your yard? Haven’t gotten one.

How large do you want your dream house’s yard to be? Big enough for a patio, a garden, and room for kids and pets to run around.

Is your job outside? I don’t work, but my previous job was to a certain extent. We did take the kids out for about 45 minutes twice a day.

Do you sunburn? So easily… I get color even when I wear sunscreen.

Would you rather be inside or outside? Most of the pursuits I’m interested in are more indoors, but being outside makes me feel good.

P is for pasta.

What is your favorite pasta sauce? Alfredo, I suppose.

When was the last time you ate pasta? Sunday I think.

What type of cheese do you like with your pasta? Parmesan… lots. I’m a cheese-freak.

What is your favorite type of pasta? Tri-color rotini. I like the tomato and spinach flavors.

What is your best friends favorite type of pasta? Alan’s not a fan of shaped pasta unless it’s macaroni & cheese.

Where is the best place to get pasta, in your opinion? I honestly don’t have an opinion on this. I don’t usually get pasta when I go out to eat.
