Alphabet Survey A-D

A is for astrology.

What sign of the zodiac are you? Pisces with Moon in Leo, Cancer Rising. Somewhere I have my entire chart done, but I can’t remember off the top of my head. I know Mars and Venus are both in Aries and I have a few planets in Sagittarius, which probably explains why I’m not a typical Pisces. There are lots of Fire and Earth in my chart, and relatively little Air and Water.

What about in the Chinese zodiac? 1983 Year of the Boar

Do you ever read your horoscope? Sometimes, but not often

Do you believe in your horoscope? Yes and no. The kind you read in the paper or magazines is never very accurate, but I think there is some merit in astrology.

Has your horoscope ever been correct? Probably once or twice, but it’s not something that stuck with me.

What is your horoscope for today? From tarot.com: "Although today may be your day off, you still retain a strong desire to know where you are heading in your chosen profession. Your general career path may be the topic of a hot discussion now. But don’t try to reach any final decisions or make a detailed action plan for what comes next. Instead, just give yourself the physical and metaphysical space to dream as big as you can, because nearly anything is possible. The greatest limitations at this time will arise from within your own mind."

B is for babies.

Whose baby did you last hold? I can’t even begin to remember. In terms of infants, maybe the Lotstein’s son, but if you want to include toddlers, probably my girlies, Abby, Elizabeth, and Brynn.

What is the youngest child you have babysat? I never did babysit, but the youngest child I’ve ever taken care of was probably 3 or 4 months.

Has a pet of yours ever had babies? No, we’ve always had our pets spayed or neutered.

At what age do you want to have children? Now would be good!

What baby names do you like? For girls, Jessamine, Anika, and Mariska. For boys, Elliott and Jeremy.

How many kids do you want? Two would be ideal, but I’ve always liked the idea of three, as well.

C is for cadavers.

Would you ever donate your body to science? Hell yes I would!

<span style="font-family: Verdana;”>Why or why not? Well, I certainly won’t be needing it anymore, now will I?

Do you think you could ever work with cadavers? Maybe. I think it would be weird at first, but I’d probably get used to it.

Did you know they have dogs that they use to sniff out dead bodies, known as cadaver dogs? D’uh.

How much do you think a cadaver is worth? A few thousand dollars, maybe?

Go to http://www.cadaverforsale.com, how much are you worth? $4,190… cool

D is for DNA.

What color is your hair, naturally? Blond… sort of. The top is medium-dark blond, with lighter blond around my face. The bottom layers are decidedly light brown. I was straightening my hair the other day and was shocked to see that the roots are nearly invisible except that the dyed hair is slightly redder.

What color are your eyes? Mostly gray, but with green and blue.

Do you support gene manipulation? No… as much as it would be wonderful to eliminate certain diseases and disorders, I can’t advocate messing about with Mother Nature.

What color hair and eyes do you like in the preferred gender? I love guys with dark hair and eyes… so of course Alan has light brown hair and green eyes. But I’ve been attracted to blond guys too, so for me, it’s more about personality.

What type of fingerprints do you have: loop, whorl, or arch? Left hand (thumb to pinky): arch, loop, whorl, whorl, loop. Right hand (thumb to pinky): arch, whorl, whorl, whorl, loop. So mostly whorls.

Do you know what DNA stands for? Yes… deoxyribonucleic acid.
