1. Does someone text you goodnight every night?
No, I get the in-person kind.
2. Are you hanging out with your best friend this weekend?
I hung out with Alan all weekend, so yeah. And I probably will next weekend too!
3. Do you hate being home alone?
Not at all! I enjoy my solitude and if Alan is home too much I tend to get really irritated with him.
4. Are you tanned?
Sort of. My shoulders and back are a bit crispy still from a hike through Garden of the Gods last weekend, but once that fades at least my top off will be tan. Nothing seems to make my legs tan though. They’re always paler than my arms.
5. What do you think of tea?
I enjoy pretty much all forms of tea and I have a cup every morning.
6. Are you picky about who you give your number to?
Not especially. It’s not like I go writing it on walls or anything, but if someone asks and I think they’ll need to get in touch with me, I see no reason not to give it to them.
7. Who has called you the most today?
Alan called a little while ago when he was on his breakfast break to let me know that he’ll take the boxes up to the dumpster later so I shouldn’t worry about calling the movers to come get them.
8. What was the reason you got in trouble last?
Seeing as how I don’t live with my parents, I don’t really get in trouble. About the closest thing to it was Alan getting annoyed with me for reading when I should have been unpacking.
9. Is there anyone on your mind right now that shouldn’t be?
Well, there wasn’t until I read this question and thought of Zach!
10. Would you break the law to save a loved one?
Stealing bread to feed my starving children, yes. Someone about kill Alan or anyone else I loved, I could probably take that person’s life. So if by "save" you mean preventing their imminent demise, yes, I would break the law.
11. Do you feel like you’ve lived this day a hundred times before?
Not really… I haven’t been here all that long. This place and even the same old routine is still novel in this situation.
12. Do you regret doing anything you’ve done this week?
It’s only Monday, although I do regret not wearing sunscreen when I went hiking.
13. Will you be in a relationship in the next couple of months?
Unless something very sudden and very unexpected happens.
14. What were you doing at 10:00AM this morning?
It’s only 9:00 AM here
15. How many tattoos would you like to have?
I already have one and I have plans for three more: one behind my ear and one on each wrist. When I have kids I would also like to have one to represent each child, most likely a cluster of hearts on my ankle.
16. Who was the last person to hold your hand?
Alan
17. Do you wish you were somewhere else right now?
Part of me wishes I were still in Connecticut, but there I definitely wouldn’t be able to sit around in a hoodie. I’d already be sweating.
18. Do you like orange juice?
Sometimes. It’s not my favorite drink.
19. What are you listening to at the moment?
The dishwasher
20. Tell me about the shirt you’re wearing.
Well, the t-shirt is black, but very old and faded. It has "Slinky" printed in gold on the front and "Ernie Ball" printed in gold on the back. The hoodie I’m wearing over it is also black, but a lot newer. It’s from Old Navy and zips up the front.
21. What woke you up this morning?
I was really cold and I had to pee.
22. Are you planning to go see a movie anytime soon?
I’ll probably see "Eclipse" at some point, though I may wait until it goes out of the bigger theaters. There’s a place on Academy Blvd. that plays older new movies and only costs $1.50 ( 75 cents on Tuesdays!). I’d also really like to see "Despicable Me."
23. What’s your current problem?
Getting the house set up and organized, finding a Bank of America ATM, and looking for a job. I need to get back into some kind of exercise routine and I’m feeling a little nauseous.
24. Are you a shy person?
Generally yes, although I can force myself to more outgoing.
25. Did you have a good day today?
Today has barely started
26. How did you get your last bruise?
I have no idea. It’s on my leg and I don’t remember doing anything that could have caused a bruise, but that’s nothing unusual.
27. Let’s test your memory, what were you wearing during your last kiss?
Haha… same thing I’m wearing now, minus the hoodie. Alan kissed me before he left this morning. I was half asleep at the time, so it’s less a matter of memory than simple logic.
28. Bet you kissed someone today, right?
Yep!
29. When was the last time you talked to one of your best friends?
Alan called me at… 8:46 AM
30. What does your last text say?
"Dunno yet. Just got sent to lunch till 1300" from Alan in response me asking when we was getting out for the day on Thursday
31. Could you go the rest of your life without doing any drugs?
Not if you include prescriptions and over-the-counter meds like Advil.
32. Do you miss the way things used to be?
A little, but the way things are is pretty good.
33. Have you met someone in the last year who turned out to be amazing?
A lot of the girls I worked with at Bright Horizons are pretty amazing, along with some of the kids and parents.
34. Do you break things when you are mad?
My passionate side really wants to, but my practical side thinks of cleaning up microscopic shards of glass and china, so I never actually do it.
35. Last place you slept?
In my own lovely bed… So nice to have furniture again
36. Would you rather have small or big dogs?
I prefer big dogs, although I like Corgis and Jack Russell Terriers.
37. What’s the weather outside like?
As far I can tell without actually stepping outside, sunny with a very light breeze. Probably warm. It’s supposed to be about 87 today.
38. Are you good at math?
Pretty good, although I’m way out of practice.
39. Where is your sibling(s) right now?
I haven’t got any, but my brother-in-law is either sleeping or at work.
40. What was your dream about last night?
I don’t really remember.
41. Did you have a nap yesterday?
No, although I definitely wanted one
<p style="margin: 0.1pt 0in;” class=”MsoNormal”>
42. Are any of your friends taller than you?
I’m pretty tall, so most of the girls I know are shorter than me, but most of the guys I know are taller.
43. Do you prefer a window seat or an aisle seat?
Definitely the window. I am not good on airplanes. I will spend the entire flight with my forehead pressed against the window watching the clouds go by and counting the minutes until we land. It’s not that I get particularly airsick (just a little nauseous) but I hate everything about planes… how crowded they are and the general smell. I like to focus on the view.
44. Do you wear any jewelry?
Earrings and my wedding ring always, and sometimes my watch and a cute casual bracelet I found at Target.
45. Who did you last talk to in person?
Alan if you want to be technical about it, but I always talk to the kitties too.
~Liz
