LOVE. Seriously, goosebumps of love over here.

February 10, 2009

Stunning!! Take care,

February 10, 2009

Oh my goodness! These are absolutely amazing. I can’t even choose a favorite as they are all simply splendid. Water…I was stuck on the water for quite awhile…it’s very difficult to paint. It almost looks like a photograph.

wonderful…how large is a print of the blue skirt?

February 10, 2009

Such a talented family! I showed my mom, whom I’m visiting and who is at a Hello Dolly rehearsal as I write this, your costume entries and she’s incredibly impressed, as I knew she would be. (She just did Seussical last year, I think I might have told you…)

Seriously talented.

February 10, 2009

She IS amazing. Those are gorgeous!

February 10, 2009

The talent just brims over in your family, doesn’t it?! Love The Entrance particularly.

I am in awe of “Ella” and “Sari”. However, they are all gorgeous.

February 10, 2009

Very very beautiful! What a talent! Warm greetings to you,

February 11, 2009

Incredible!! Talent apparently runs in your family.

February 11, 2009

Strong and beautiful – in other words…stunning!

Thank you for the nice write up, Sweetie! The Blue Skirt print would be around 21″ high and 13″ wide. Love you! xxxooo ~ J

Ella’s skin feels like satin. I can tell by the painting. She is regal. love the movement of water in Josh Afloat, also his long lashes. The Blue Skirt has a Master’s touch…Baroque, almost. Ditto Yellow Vase. I envy and admire such talent! Prayers for your Dad’s continued improvement. **HUGS** Bday, coming up, no? 27 this year, isn’t it? RYN: The triangular bars are painted yellow. Up close, they look like yellow painted poles. From a distance, when the sun shines on them, they look like glittering strands of gold. 🙂

I highly doubt Papa Blue would let me splurge right now, but because one has to keep dreams fed, I must know: is the original for Blue Skirt still available?

February 12, 2009

…absolutely amazing. Your family sure has a boatload of the creativity genes!!!

February 12, 2009

They are all beautiful, but Ella is breath-taking.

They are amazing! You are a seriously talented family! RYN: Thank you for your thoughts, your concern. The fires that are still burning are now contained and for most of us life is back to normal. For those who need to build a new normal, there is a huge outpouring of support.

WOWWWW!!!!!! I know you’ve mentioned her work, before, but…. just WOW!!!!! “Quiet Moment” almost reminds me of a young Adagio… LOVE “Josh Afloat” (who is a female, right?) and “Ella” – who’s bright raimant sizzles off the page, and “The Corset” – what coloring! and the angle and lustrous sheen and delicious palette of “Pink Flowers” is beautiful, and “The Entrance” is so elegant…and “TheSari”….well, I could go on, of course, but they’re all amazing…. I’m curious, by the way….does your sister have any sons?

February 15, 2009

Anyway, I just wandered over, a tad belatedly to wish you a Happy Valentine’s Day, but ALSO… HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ADAGIO! 🙂

February 15, 2009

Wow, I can see the artistic eye runs in the family!

February 16, 2009

Wow!!! These are BEAUTIFUL!!!! I’d just pop w/ pride!

February 16, 2009

Her work is tranquil and beautiful and elegant! Just WOW!! ryn: everything is lovely, thanks so much for caring!! You are an angel, k;)

I’m absolutely flabergasted – how does she do it- she is a mom too I think – a little boy? I’m speechless Kari!! Please tell her for me that she has revived the day of great, great masters – and she’s one of them. I keep thinking of my art history course when I look at her paintings – particularly of the work from European painters when artists were valued, had patrons and time to paint. She’s doing it in a day when you don’t have that kind of support. WOW! doesn’t in any way express what I’m feeling about her work but WOW!.

really, truly, amazing. I find her work stunning. I’ll have to show Kyle… I think he’ll love them too.

The first one and “The San” are my favourite. How amazing! I’m envious. I gave up art for other things and haven’t ever really picked it up again. I should. I miss it terribly.
