Embarrass…Minnesota

I sometimes wish that time would slow down just a little bit. Let me catch up and/or keep up on my OD. But there it goes with a “whoosh”…time! Maybe I can post entries at work when I have nothing else to do because now I have Mobil Web on my phone.

I got a new phone and it is just like me to be just one step behind when it comes to fashion and stuff. I just got the enV2. I like it for the capabilities but I love my old phone that I have had for a few years now.

Last Wednesday Alexa went to stay in Embarrass, MN with my cousin. They will be cleaning cabins this summer on the weekends. I am hoping that she can work during the week some too so that she does not get bored. Then again maybe she will baby-sit for my cousin. Who knows? I just hope that she does not get bored. I love it up there and did not want to come back here. I rode with Alexa and Dick followed. I wanted to be sure that she got there okay. It is pretty easy but I was worried because we have trouble following directions. A GPS would be awesome but I don’t go anywhere often enough to have one.

I got a text on Thursday from Alexa she needed money for a fishing license. Youch…non-resident…$40. But what the heck, I believe it is money well spent. That is what they do when they are not working…fish. My cousin’s husband made a plaque and hung it on a tree at my Grandpa’s favorite fishing spot in honor of my grandparents. I hope to get to see it “in real life” rather than just seeing the pictures on Face book. By the way…I have a picture of Alexa’s first fish!! I just have to figure out how to get it from my phone to the web.

Nadine has pretty much moved out without taking much of her stuff. Because they don’t have room for it. Welcome to the club. She is a pack rat! But guess who’s going through that room that no one is sleeping in this summer? I will pack crap in a tote, if no one asks for it in the next six months. Burn baby burn! I don’t throw important stuff just junk and believe me there is enough junk in that room to fill YOUR house.

I went to the Chiropractor. I finally just had to because I could not stand the pain any more. I may have to go one more time. I think he leaves me half out of whack on purpose so I have to go back. I have always said “If they can put ya in they can take ya out (of place.) Why wouldn’t they? They are in business to make money.

Snow in June…you read that right and there is even a picture to prove it. Not a picture of the snow per say but in the picture of the stand-off, shoot-out in Dickinson and there is snow on the ground. It is not unheard of but is rare. I believe it this year! Holy cow, it has been cold. My furnace is still running! This better mean that we get summer into December!
