Shock of All Shocks

I should have been writing but I was bouncing around OD reading. Reading faves, reading notes, and trying to read others faves.

Yesterday I was in the middle of an entry when Mr. Secret called. Then while I was talking to him my sister was on call waiting so I took her call. Mr. Secret and I were just chatting ~ nothing serious so I told him that I had to take my sister’s call. I usually know an important call when I get one. Sister C wanted me to call my Mom (because she won’t talk to her) to tell her that a very close co-worker of Mom’s had passed away.

So I had to be the bearer of bad news.

I am shocked right out of my head! I got a birthday card and $20 from my mother. Mark that one on “shocks of all time!” I have not gotten a birthday card or gift from her since I was 13…do the math…that was 30 years ago.

I have now wasted all my time…reading my old entries. I must get in the shower. I have to be to work in an hour.
