Fire Weather

If you read Sweet Lizzy she did not tell you the whole story. The weather that she is talking about is no longer north of us. It is upon us!! Driving home was incredibly scary. For a while I could see the white lines on the road but they soon disappeared. The snow was/is blowing from the North and I was traveling west. The snow was zipping across right in front of me. I am so glad that no wildlife jumped out in front of me because I would not have been able to see it in time.

I was an accident waiting to happen so that it was a good thing that there was minimal traffic. I was driving 35 MPH in a 70 MPH zone. It is four lanes so I did not have to worry about oncoming traffic. I always travel in the left lane so anyone that needed or wanted to get by me did not have to change lanes to pass.

At work I was fine for the first couple of hours. Then I got really sleepy. I don’t know what it is about that place that makes me so tired. Ha maybe it could be the lack of oxygen. I bet if they put a carbon monoxide detector in the HL the levels would be sky high. I would lay odds that is what it is ~ lack of oxygen and an over abundance of carbon monoxide. OMG they are trying to kill us!!

Another wonderful thing is happening on the work front. I had an employee that my supervisor fired. I liked this kid I really did. He plays in a band ~ I don’t so much appreciate the style of music but these guys have a TON of talent. He also writes for the college paper. This last issue has another article in it. This one could be my termination notice. He stated in his column how I told him to watch his P’s and Q’s around Supe because he doesn’t like you and I don’t know why. Yes, I did tell him that but that never came out of Supes mouth. It is just the conclusion that I drew because Supe was always nit-picking at this kid. I am not the only one to witness or notice Supe’s actions against the kid. But that is neither here nor there ~ they don’t need a reason to fire someone.

Like I have said before getting fired would not be such a bad thing. It would force me to get a different job. I hate change so much that I would rather stay and be miserable (even if they are trying to kill us) then put in my notice. They can fire me!!
