Labor Day

What did I do today? Not much of anything but it seemed like a really long day. I know that I had a nap. I had planned on sleeping longer but I got a phone call ~ a stupid call from work that could have been made long before it was or it could waited until I got there. Not only did Curly call but he called my cell phone from the site phone! Hello ~ we are both Verizon! Calling from the site phone uses up minutes! Jackass!

I cooked again! Two days in a row. Today was not really cooking but I made a meal. I re-heated the corn on the cob and I cooked hot dogs in the pizza over ~ that makes them like they were cooked on the grill. Yum!

We were all at the table eating when I looked across the table and I saw a mark on Dick’s neck. A shocked look must have crossed my face because Alexa asked “what?” I just shook my head ~ telling her nothing. Then he turned his head and I got a good look at it. OMG! It is a big hickey! Now every time I think about it I start giggling! Maybe I am embarrassed for him.

His cousin and girlfriend stopped by. As he was going outside to talk to them I said “better cover your hickey.” He just made a laughing sound because he had no other response.

It feels so good to really not care.
