Gone for the Night ~ Doing the Happy Dance

Dick actually came home sometime early this evening. That was shocking ~ I thought for sure since he came home last night that he would be a no show tonight. But he went to the neighbors up the road to work on the lawn mower. I guess that they were teaching Tyler how to change the oil because he has a mowing job. He is only 9 almost 10 and has a job. Way to go boy!! The new neighbor across the road asked him to mow his yard. Of course working on the mower had to involve drinking. Nadine called me at work to ask me if I had house keys because Dick was leaving and wanted them to lock the door. Then she asked if I “wanted” to talk to him. The thought that went through my mind was no. Rather than saying no I asked if he wanted to talk to me. He did want to talk to me. What the hell for? To tell me that we need tissue. So of course I had to start lecturing him on drinking and driving. I could tell by his voice that he was already well on his way. ‘Round and round we went! Finally I said “don’t call me if you get picked up” and I hung up.

He has a different girl now. Alexa thinks that she is gross. Yeah Tyler and Alexa saw her. Alexa said “I think the girl likes Dad. They were always talking alone when everyone else was together.” Tyler said “I think Dad likes the girl because they were sitting on the hill alone.” I explained to them that it is okay for Dad to have a girl. Alexa said but she’s kinda gross.

That is the third one that I know of in the past couple of months. Just makes me wonder what he has been doing for the past 6 years. It grosses me out to think about it. I can not believe that he was faithful to me ~ ever!

He went to the same place that he was last weekend so I am sure that she will be there too. When I asked him about the girl he said that it was M’s friend but wouldn‘t tell me her name. I left it at. I don’t want him to think that I am mad about him having girls. I am so over him ~ it is just too bad that it took me so long!
