More Ammo and Fun

I could just as well copy and paste my entry from last weekend. I just have more ammunition ~ can you guess what that is? Yeah ~ Dick did not come home again tonight. I really don’t care!

The kids and I had a good day ~ a fun day.

I took Nadine to take the test to get her driver’s permit. She passed! I am so excited for her. Of course she had to call my nephew to tell him. While we were in Crosby we went to Williston to see Dad in the hospital and we did other stuff. One thing that I forgot to mention is that Hayden took the test to get his driver’s permit ~ he did not pass. I felt bad for him!

So now you all know to stay off the sidewalks! Nadine has a driver’s permit. She can not take the test for her driver’s license for six months. I am almost certain that she will not be taking it in six month ~ that will be December. I will make her wait until Spring when the roads are clear of ice and snow.

After Nadine’s test we went to Culver’s for a late lunch/early supper. I love Culver’s but I can not eat anything that is deep fried there. I get a belly ache. I have not had fries or anything fried from there for so long that I decided to try it again. Nope ~ still can’t eat fried stuff there. After dinner/supper we went to Wal*Mart ~ I needed fabric softener. Then we came home. I had a nap the kids goofed off. A man came to the yard trying to sell educational books. I told Tyler to tell him that I am not interested because we have them. He wanted to know how many. WTF does it matter how many? I AM NOT INTERESTED should have been the first clue that I don’t want any. I certainly was not going to let him into the house. I let a girl in one time and she was so pushy and tried to have me spending a ton of money on these books.

That was the end of my nap. So I got up and paid some bill ~ blech! Then Nadine drove us all to the fireworks stand that is about 6 miles away. To me it was a waste of time because we have a stand less than a mile away. I ended up buying at the closer stand. I spent under $40 so that equals under $10 per child. I split up my purchase between all the kids and they are very happy with their loot. The girls bought some stuff at the other stand.

Since we got back I have just been bumming around the house ~ not doing much of anything. Now it is time for me to got to sleep ~ I have to be in town early to get set up for the new quarter. Blech again! Counting all those unsold pull-tabs is a pain in the ass. I get to bank and open. At least I get done early! I have plans for after work ~ I hope that Dick comes home sometime tomorrow! I should just not come home tomorrow night at all! See how he likes it! But I could never do that to the kids. I would have to tell him. I would feel too guilty for being so irresponsible.

Ugh ~ I am just rambling. Closing and going to sleep!
