New Twist on the Mother Saga

 
When things seem too good to be true they probably are! I feel so bad for my sister because she is in the direct line of fire.

Mother’s Day of all days my Mother calls her right away in the morning. Bitching  because her roof is leaking and she put the house on the market. She can not sell the house with a leaky roof.

Sister asked her what that had to do with her.

“You need to call **** Construction! They are the ones that did the roof.”

Ummmm….just because she is married to Mr. **** does not mean that it is up to her to call **** Construction. If Mother can call sister to bitch about the roof she certainly has time to call the construction company and bitch about the roof.

Mother was quite snotty about the whole ordeal.

Sister wanted to talk about the house being on the market and Mother told her that she is moving to Minnesota where her parents live. What about Dad? He’s staying here! WTF? But she did not have time to discuss it because she was at work. How do you call someone and say that yet not take time to discuss it?

She really hurt sisters’ feelings and that makes me very angry. From the day that they got married Dad always treated or tried to treat us (Mother’s children) as his own. Mother never even tried! CHB!

How can one just leave a husband of over 30 years in a nursing home and move out of state? How is that possible? Can anyone really be that callous? Oh yeah this is my mother I am talking about. I forgot.

Sister is very happy that Dad is not going. She did talk to him about it and he already knew. He threw his hands in the air and said “let her go!” I don’t blame him.
