Mother Called Me

I can’t remember if I mentioned this…but I sent my mother a birthday card and a Mother’s Day card. Now just remember that I have spoken to her twice since the end of October and I hung up on her both times because she was being a total witch. Had she stopped bitching long enough for me to explain what she was upset about she may have understood. She called me last night. I was busy selling bingo cards to psycho bingo players so I could not take her call. Not that I wanted to take her call but I would have had I not been so busy.

She has been such a snot to my sister. They live in the same very small town. They attend the same church. They shop at the same grocery store because there is only one grocery store. How Christian is it to snub your daughter in church? My sister has tried to make amends with her and she is not having any of it. I don’t know if I should return her call or just wait for her to call me again.

(Side tracked: I had a dream that I was shopping in my Victoria’s Secret pajamas barefoot. There were two others with the same pajamas but they were wearing the matching slippers. I felt like an idiot because I had not worn my matching slippers.) I do own the pajamas and slipper that I was dreaming about.

I think that I am going to wait for her to call me. I sent cards she can do the calling. If she wants to reconcile that is fine but that has to include all my siblings. If she wants to keep being a crank that is fine with me too. I am not losing any sleep over this situation.
