They Think That I am the Maid

My house is a friggin’ disaster area and nobody else seems to care. The kids can make a mess like you would not believe and just leave it! I believe that everyone in this house seems to think that I am the maid. I am not the damn maid ~ pick up after yourself. How hard would it be for you to put your dirty dishes in the dishwasher? I should start making the kids do the dishes by hand if they want to leave dirty dishes in the sink, on the table, or anywhere else that they so desire. And laundry! There has been folded laundry lying around. I told them last week ~ if your laundry is folded it is up to you to put it away. If your laundry is clean and in a basket it is up to you to fold it and put it away. They walk across the kitchen with their shoes on because they may have forgotten something ~ leaving mud and dirt all over the floor! I should keep the broom where it is handy for them to sweep up the mess! They are not supposed to have shoes on in the kitchen in the first place! Grrr….I am on a rampage. I won’t even mention their disgusting bathroom! Does anyone realize that I work full-time plus? Does anyone care?
