Just a Quick One

Just a quickie! My mother called when I was at work so Alexa called me. My mom’s sister has lung cancer ~ they just found out yesterday. I am not calling my mother about it ~ I know how she makes a mountain out of a mole hill. I will call my Grandmother. Grandma lives in the same apartment building as both of mom’s sisters.

For now I am off and running like a lunatic.

Update on Dick: So I already posted that he did not come home Wednesday night after “being called in to work.” Thursday I was on my way to town with the kids. We met his cousin’s son and his girlfriend on the road. They were stalled so I dialed Dick. He did not answer his phone. As I was text messaging him I also gave Bonnie his phone number. Before I was done sending the message “Dave needs help” she was already talking to him. “He wasn’t in his pickup when I called.“ I am calling BULLSHIT! She referred to me as “your kid’s mom” twice. Which is fine with me. It just makes me angry that he would not answer when I called. I don’t call him very often and when I do it is not just to chit chat. I call when I have a reason.

Friday I text messaged him in the middle of the afternoon and he answered immediately! From now on I will not call just text him. After all that is the reason that I got him set up to text ~ so that I would not have to talk to him.

Now I am off and running like a lunatic!
