From now on I am going to let everyone see the wonderful temperatures of the Frozen Tundra. My little “wunderground” thing will keep you informed. Right before I started writing this it was -27. Yes, folk you have it 27 degrees below zero.

When I left work it did not feel all that cold outside. The reason being that we were already half froze. The two new furnaces that they installed last month seem to keep the bottle shop, restrooms, and the foyer warm. The rest of the building ~ the bar, lounge, and gaming area seem to be lacking some sort of priority. The bartender finally shut us down. It was getting quite chilly and all the customers had their winter coats on.

If I walked into a place and I could not even enjoy myself because I was shivering and my teeth were chattering I certainly would not stay. There are many other places to go that do have heat. Why would one sit in a bar for over 8 hours just to freeze their ass off? Then complain about it! The nerve! “Oh no this is just some kind of cruel joke that we like to play on occassion and tonight is the night!” Ugh!

Tomorrow I open so I have a sneaking suspicion that it is still going to be cold at the HL so I am dressing in layers and bringing extra clothes with me to work. (I just shivered just thinking about how cold it was in there.) The building is drafty anyway ~ I am so glad that it was not windy outside tonight because that would have made it even colder inside. Toomo stopped in for a little bit then said SG has their furnace running so I am going down there! Traitor! Actually he has not been hanging out at the HL because we alway kick his butt!

We were not all that busy so I got the pull-tabs from last quarter counted. Yikes I don’t even know how many were there. I had help so it went fast. I don’t think that I had an independent count for the bingo cards and the blackjack chips. Who knows maybe I did and I just do not know about it. The way that the quarter end fell and having the last day of the quarter off made me very unorganized! I will think about what day I take off from now on at quarter end.

Now I am just rambling to hear my keyboard chatter! Going to get some sleep so that I can get up in the morning! Good night!
