Happy New Year!

I did not have to work last night but I told Dick that I had to. I did not want him trying to make plans with me. He has been trying to be really nice to me and I am not having it. Yes, I like it when we get along but that does not mean that I want to do things with him.

I decided that I would come home and spend the evening and ring in the New Year with the children. I came home to an empty house ~ a clean empty house. (The up-side of an empty house.) So I called Dicks cell phone to find out where the kids were. They were with him at A and Ms and they planned on staying in town. I rang in the New Year alone with a cup of coffee and I spent the night alone.

I woke up to a very cold house. Okay 61 degrees is not that cold but cold compared to what I am used to. I am not sure if it is just that cold outside or if I am having furnace trouble. It is 5 degrees outside and it does not seem to be windy. There is something going on. I will be sure to call Dick after a bit but I dont want to call this early (even though if I am up it is not that early) ~ I am sure that he had a late night.

I am off and running like a lunatic. It is the beginning of a new quarter and I have a ton of work to do to prepare! I was scheduled for 5 oclock but I switched with Cocky. I hate being there all day and all night. I can prepare the site and not have to work over 12 hours to do it.
