My Thanksgiving Entry

Thanksgiving has come and gone. I made it through the holiday without dwelling on the fact that I was away from the family that I grew up with. I am not even sure who was around. Did Len go “home” or is he in the same place that I am with Mother?

We had an awesome Thanksgiving. I called Derek and asked him to come out. He tried to tell me that he didn’t know what they were doing. I told him that they were going to Auntie C’s Friday. I had already talked to Todd. He still hemmed and hawed until I told him that he could bring E with him. E is his girl. When he discovered that E was welcome to come out he was all for it. I told him that she is always welcome here. She is such a sweet girl.

As usual I had way too much food ~ I did the whole feast thing. I was still pretty icky with that cold so I could not taste anything. I had to have others sample everything before I could serve it. I could taste the gravy. I wanted to add salt but Dick said that it was already pretty salty. I said the MT prayer as I was making the gravy. MT is an awesome cook and when I really want something to turn out I say the MT prayer ~ asking for the ability of perfection.

I laughed so hard at the kids and all their antics I thought that I was going to pee my pants. We took tons of pictures. Some were just nonsense pictures. We took videos but we can not view them on the computer. My program does not recognize the file. I wonder if viewing them on the TV had anything to do with that ~ somehow I doubt it but the thought did cross my mind. I don’t know.

I am off to hit the hay. I have to get up early to do the banking and I open. Being 4 AM tomorrow is going to be a long day for me.
