Mad Work Week…so far

I made it through the work madness and today is my day off! Thanking God for small favors because I am really in need of a rest.

Monday I opened and worked until five but I spent from five to seven trying to find someone to take GW’s shift. I ended up taking her shift and working until about 11:30.

Tuesday I had to be up early for meeting. Sat through a boring meeting from ten until five. At that time I had to get to the school to pick up the kids from a basketball game that I was unable to attend because of the meeting. I hate it when work gets in the way of functions that my children are involved in. I got the kids home ~ what is for supper. I do not feel like cooking! I ordered pizzas and had them delivered. Then I tried to take a snooze because I was going back to work. I thought that I just let Giant take the night off for a class. That is not what happened at all. He wanted the night off to study for a mid-term so he got GW to take his shift. This would be all fine and dandy if GW was a closing PIC but she is not. She could be ~ she has the ability to handle these “kids” if need be and I am sure that she can do the closing paperwork.

Wednesday was another day like Monday. Do the banking and open. I was really tired most of the day. Counting bingo cards makes me really sleepy. I am not sure if it is the monotony of it or if counting relaxes me. I was very, very sleepy! I came home right after bingo ~ home before 10. I sat down to watch a movie that started at 10:30 but watched only about 40 minutes of it, I struggled to stay awake that long.

So now here I am up bright and early. If it were summertime I would say “it looks like it is going to be a beautiful day. I know that it is going to be cold today but it sure looks nice out.
