Nine Damn Minutes

I am soon off to the wild blue yonder ~ I actually mean the shower! It is Monday again for those of you who did not know that. Oh oh ~ I am already feeling like I am full of piss and vinegar this morning. That is a good sign because to me that means that I am in a good mood. I don’t know that I am in a good mood until someone tries to talk to me. So far this morning no one has tried to talk to me.

I went to the couch early last night. I found two good programs to watch. Dr. G (something) she is a coroner and explains what she is doing as she is doing an autopsy. And I was watching Investigation ~ which was actually about a gal from Northern Minnesota that they were trying to convict for pushing her boyfriend from a cliff in Oregon. I watched both switching between channels. Every time I changed the channel it tells how much longer the program will be on. Nine minutes for both! I only had 9 minutes to see the end of one or both of the programs. I fell asleep!

In the beginning I felt sorry for the girl but the more I watched I became to feel that she was guilty ~ but I did not see the end so I can not “convict” her.

Nine damn minutes!!!

Yesterday we had a 4-H meeting with a new leader. I went to Business College with her about 100 years ago. It was a good meeting and so different from all the other meetings that we have attended. The meeting was held out on a farm, the little lady of the house did a rabbit demonstration. The “host and hostess” served chili after that. Then they brought out the 4-wheeler, mini bike, go-cart. All the kids got to take turns riding. I did let Tyler on the go-cart but I did not let them on the 4-wheeler. They have their own to ride and it was getting late, the bugs were getting bad, and I wanted to leave.

Yes ~ in the Frozen Tundra in October we still have bugs! Usually they have all froze by now but we have been having beautiful weather. I knew that this would happen once I pulled up all my tomato plants because I could not get them to ripen. Next year I am putting them in the front so that they get more sun.

I better hit the shower!

I want to know who is out there supplying the bugs with thermal underware. 🙂 – – – –

Today we had an invasion of ladybugs. The air was thick with them and my house was about covered with them. I usually like ladybugs, but once a year they all seem to decide to come to my house and we’re dealing with them crawling on us when they get inside, which a lot of them seem to do.
