Back at the Beginning of the Cold

The cold that I have had was getting better. Thursday it started right at the beginning again ~ little bit of a sore throat. Friday I woke up with about the same sore throat but by the afternoon it was quite worse. I took a nap ~ I napped from about 1:30 until after 4:00 when the kids got home from school. I was feeling terrible so I called in to work to tell them that I would be there at 7:00. When the kids woke me up again at 6:00 I was still feeling crappy but I got up and ready for work. Gargled with Listerine and took some Tylenol Cold medicine. That seemed to work for a while. Now my throat and ear hurts just the left side.

It is too late (early AM) to take night time cold medicine but I don’t want to take day time cold medicine either. I should have taken something when I got home from work! Damn I can be dumb sometimes.

Dick is staying at the shop. I told him to go to L’s to have a rest but I don’t think that he will. All I know is that he is not coming home. Oh don’t feel sorry for me that breaks my heart none! I don’t care if he ever comes home. I do feel bad for him because he has been working so many hours and getting so little sleep. Being on salary he will get paid jack shit! But that is the way the wind blows.

We have had unseasonably warm weather! I am not complaining because I am loving it!

Now I am starting to ramble AGAIN so it must be time to stumble off to the floor.
