Nothing New

The neighbors across the road actually mowed their weeds a couple weeks ago so now all the field mice have been migrating into the neighborhood. Grace seems to think that she needs to catch one (or more) on a daily basis. Sunday she shared one with the babies! Tonight she brought one into the house and it was still alive. When Nadine picked her up to put her back outside with her treasure she dropped it! We tried to catch it ~ Nadine with a bucket, Tyler with a bucket, and me hollering damn it every time we could see it. Grace did assist in catching it but she let it go every time we tried to carry her! Damn mouse! Damn cat!

Tonight I will not be sleeping on the living room floor! I will have to battle with Tyler for the couch. He is back in the “I am scared to sleep in my room” phase.
Maybe I can carry him to his room while he is sleeping without waking him! Just a thought but I doubt that will happen.

Quarterly meetings went just fine! No one to argue points that we already went over or repeating things that we have already discussed! I did not see Mr. Big nearing the boiling point! Whew ~ I really don’t think that I would like to see that. They feed us too well! I almost ate my whole piece of pie at dinnertime because we were in deep conversation and I was not paying attention to my tummy screaming at me. My tummy was say “no, no more! Stop eating because you are full enough already!” My head was saying “eat it, eat it all because it tastes so good.” I pushed away half of my piece of pie!

I have been trying to reduce just a little bit. Not by not eating but just not over-eating ~ I stop when I am full rather than cleaning my plate or finishing a fast food meal. I don’t go hungry by any means. It seems to be working because I have taken off a couple of pounds and my pants fit better.

This is the entry that I was writing last night before I got distracted with Yahoo games!

I just got home from picking the girls up from basketball camp and I have to work at three. So I must get moving so that I am not late!
