New Clothes Without Shopping

Today on my way to work I noticed some blue sky. Tonight on my way home from work I noticed some stars. Could that mean that we might get a decent day? I am certainly hoping for some nice weather. It has been so cloudy, gloomy, and rainy that I don’t know how much more I can stand. Tonight it is actually very nice outside ~ just a slight breeze and it seems like the temperature is up a bit. I will look at the weather thing on my front page. Nope it is not really up ~ it is only 54° but it feels nice because it is not windy.

I got to work tonight and Curly said L brought you some clothes.

What?

Either LM or LS (first names alike) brought you some clothes. There are a few bags over there (behind table three.)

Taking into consideration that LM stands over six feet tall I am positive that she did not bring me clothes. I stand 5’3” at my tallest!

So I walked to table three. My goodness, I guess she brought me “some” clothes. Eight tall kitchen bags of clothes! I could not leave all those bags behind the table so I hauled them out to my car. If anyone looked in my car I am sure that they thought I was a trash collector or I had a lot of trash to get rid of. My back seat and floor was cover with full, white trash bags.

I had no clue that she was bringing me clothes. I wonder if she was telling me that I am a mess and need nicer clothes. I am just joking ~ she is too nice to even think like that. I asked her what she was doing by giving me all those clothes and that she could have had a garage sale.

“I don’t have time for that kind of business. Those are clothes from when I was thinner. Someone has to wear them before they go out of style.”

So I hauled all the bags into the house when I got home. I am chomping at the bit to look at them but I am afraid to start that project tonight. I would not quit until I went through each and every bag. I think that I will leave that project for tomorrow afternoon or Thursday, which is my day off. These clothes will come in handy now that I am not wearing the uniform tux shirt and black slacks. I will have more of an assortment to wear.

I tried to shop for some new work clothes but I am just so cheap when it comes to buying things for myself. I can not justify spending $40 on a pair of slacks! Now I won’t have to ~ I hope!

I know that these are nice clothes. Nothing but the best for LS. She came from money, she has money, and she dresses very nicely ~ all the time! I have never seen this woman in a pair of jeans. She mostly wears black slacks because she says she is too chubby to wear anything else. Hello, have you looked around lately! It doesn’t matter you can wear anything that you want to wear!

Okay now that I am writing about ”my new clothes” I can’t stand it. I just might have to dig in. Like a kid at Christmas.

I guess that is what I will do for a while but I can not stay up so late. I have to get up so that I can wake Alexa. She starts basketball camp in the morning. Her ride will be here at 7:30. Then I have to get to town and get the banking done so that I can pick up the three girls at 11:30.

Okay I am off to dig in the trash bags or good clothes!
