With the Kids

If you’d like to read about he Dru Sjodin case this is the link to the articles in the local newspaper

I took the kids to town so that Tyler could pick out a gift for the party that he is going to attend Sunday. He asked the boy what he wanted and we did find that item but we did not buy it. Instead we found a Spiderman motor cycle with an action figure. The other choice was also a Spiderman item but $5 more. Yep I was being cheap!

Then we had supper at Burger King ~ their choice of fine dining. I had to go to the HL to get my camera and we drove by a softball game. The kids decided that it would be fun to watch a game so after supper we headed out to the softball complex ~ that has 16 diamonds ~ and watched a bit of softball. All the kids are going to play softball this summer so I thought that it was a good idea to actually watch a game. I am thinking that on nice days this would be a fun activity for us to do. Tonight was a bit chilly with the wind. I was glad when they decide that they had enough of the game. I am a baby when it comes to getting cold. My nose was running and my ears were starting to hurt.

After watching the game for a bit we drove around ~ like we were going to see anything new! I was ready to head out of town for home when Alexa asked me if I was still going to go to the grocery store. I had forgotten about that! It is a good thing that girl is on the ball. We got almost all of what we needed ~ rather than getting napkins as planned I got tater tots because I plan on making hot dish. Not that I couldn’t get both I just forgot about the napkins. We are completely out of napkins!

We came home. Dick was actually home but did not speak a word to me. I wonder if he even remembers reading that letter. Maybe I shall go find out.
