I had a fairly uneventful day. I got most of the laundry done ~ the only load that I did not do was a load of my sweaters. It is pretty sad when cleaning house becomes the events of the day to write about.

Spent a lot of time on the computer between loads of laundry chatting up a storm with Roller Beth. She keeps me sane and we have a good time.

Tonight the kids had their spring concert and they are all glad that it is done with. They have been counting the days until school is let out for the summer. Can you believe that they only have seven days (not counting Saturday and Sunday) left? Usually the last two day are fun days for them. Cleaning out desks and lockers or having parties.

Another astonishment ~ Dick made a sacrifice to be at the concert ~ he was home shortly after 5 and he stopped at the store for milk.

I can not even be mad at him for drinking tonight because I basically pushed him out the door. I invited a friend over for coffee and I know that he does not enjoy the visiting that we do. He will always make snotty remark later about our conversation. Out, out, out ~ just go away. He did not argue. She was here until almost midnight. Our poor girls are going to pay for that tomorrow when they have to get up for school. Although Nay was up the latest all the kids were up past their bedtime. Tyler and Nay will be buggers to get up in the morning.

I was sleeping! I was watching TV and fell asleep on the “love sofa” lying on my stomach! Oh ugh, my back hurt when I woke up so I slid off the “love sofa” and crawled to my pillows and blanket. Got all snuggled in and was watching TV again. Fell asleep again until Dick came home. He was making some racket in the kitchen and woke me up. So here I am at almost three yapping away.

I better try to get some sleep! I have to do the banking and the jar audit since we are back to auditing three times a week again.

I got a call from the office today informing me that the bonus checks are in the top drawer! I can’t wait to see mine ~ finally a managers bonus! But I should not get too excited because last quarter was one of the slowest quarters in my history with the company. And that does have an effect on the amount of the bonuses. But a bonus is a bonus no matter how large or small that it may be.
