Ground Breaking
My Earthlink is updating. I hope that this is an update to be able to get a faster connection.
My computer is so slow, my connection is so slow ~ all of it seems so slow. Once in a while I get to use one of the computers at work and it amazes me how fast it is.
The ground breaking for the new office is today at three. The Bigs were in and mentioned that and asked if I had known about it. Yeah, your son told me about it. He was shocked to hear that I didnt get a memo because all of my staff is welcome to it. I am sure that it is going to be some big shindig. I will be missing said shindig because I have to work. Not that I would make a special trip to town for a ground breaking for their new office building. I think that they should keep the office building that they have and give all the employees a raise, including the caretakers for their son. I have a better idea maybe they would each like to take some lessons on manners.
I have some inside information on them and it is not pretty. It makes me feel sorry for the caretakers. One is expected to be the housekeeper and caretaker without added salary. She says that they are money-grubbing people and very unappreciative. This sickens me!
They have always been nice to me. The son on the other hand has been rude to me and he gets a look on his face as if wrinkling his nose. I have seen him look at me like that more than once. Possible because I went to the operations director with his inappropriate behavior toward me.
The longer I work there the less that I care if I work there because I know that eventually they will find something totally ridiculous to fire me for. I guess I should just enjoy my job as long as I have it. I will not be the first and I certainly will not be the last.
I am tired this morning ~ I have been up for over an hour already and I did not go to sleep until almost 4 AM because it takes that long to accomplish the things that I want to do after work. It takes an hour longer now. I really, really want a new computer! I should just do it better yet I better just ride out the storm before I go spending any money. Maybe I will send money with Toomo to play bingo for me. SG is playing three $1000 giveaways tonight and I have to work. He asked me last night if I wanted to be his partner. Can I justify spending $30? Probably! It would surly come in handy.
This is the entry that I did not get posted because I started yapping and forgot that I had even written it. Then I worked ~ yes I did remember that I had to work at three ~ thanks to a reminder here in OD.
Toomo did not stop in before the giveaways at SG so I did not get to give him money to play a card for me. He did split one first bingo ~ I think that is what he said but no big money. So I saved myself $30.
