Jamboree

If you’d like to read about he Dru Sjodin case this is the link to the articles in the local newspaper

The girls are in their second season of basketball. Although I would not call the first season a season at all. They played the same team probably eight times. They got beat by this team probably eight times only to find out that most of the girls on this this team also plays on the traveling team. We can chalk this up to experience! This season however is grades four thru six. Nadine does not get to play much because she is in grade seven even though she is shorter than most sixth grade girls and some fifth grade girls. As I have always said B-I-G does not spell bad. 🙂

Saturday, Alexa played in a Jamboree. They played very well. The only game that they looked like the Bad News Bulldogs was against the team that their coach said was a really good team. I think that just freaks them out! That team was nothing special but of course we lost that game. But that was the only one that the sixth grade girls lost.

That was the third game that they played with very short breaks between games. They were all very sluggish. I can only imagine how tired those girls were.

I know how tired I was because I stayed up way too late to have to get up. I did get up by 8:30 and I was out the door shortly thereafter. I missed the first fifth grade game.

There you have it a partial entry about the Jamboree. It is too bad that I suffer from CRS so bad that I can not give a play by play account of each game. Teeheehee!
