Sea Monkeys

If you’d like to read about he Dru Sjodin case this is the link to the articles in the local newspaper

All my new hires showed up to do the paperwork. The one thing that I have never done with the new hires is go through the “Your First Day” handbook. I actually did that with two of them today.

We had one on shift for bingo tonight. I was so impressed with the way that he called bingo. It is like he is an old pro! He is going to be good! I can not think of a name for any of the new “kids” yet. Give me time to learn their personalities and you will have a name.

Nadine brought “Sea Monkeys” home from school. When my sister was here and drug me through Gordman’s we saw a “Sea Monkey” kit. We laughed because when we were little girls we got one of those sets but we could not even begin to “grow” them because the neighbor boy ate the plasma. I told her “Johnny ate the plasma.” She said “what, you remember that? You remember the weirdest things.”

How could she forget? We wanted those “Sea Monkeys” so badly. We did not get everything that we wanted handed to us left and right. Vary rarely did we get anything fun at all. Then we finally got them and Johnny ate the plasma. I guess that affected me more than it did her.

So Nadine set up the fish tank and has set out to grow “Sea Monkeys.” I wonder if she has the plasma for them. All I know is that there is a bunch of junk floating on the top and sitting on the bottom of the fish tank. I hope her “Sea Monkeys” grow.

Okay it is time to end this and get some shut-eye. I have the banking and an audit to do in the morning. The roads are not that good but at least they don’t have all the snow and slush that they had on them Wednesday afternoon.
